Loud crackling sound when starting
Okay, this has only happened once (maybe twice) since I bought the car 6 months ago:
The other day when I tried to start I heard this loud crackling sound when I initially pressed the start button. Maybe I didn't have the brake pedel fully pressed or maybe I didn't have the start button pressed all the way......
So just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them

With over 20,000 miles on a CL63, delivered May 2007, my keyless-go button has ignited the 6.2 to a powerful sounding cacophony of pure V8 horsepower, but never a "loud crackling sound". It is somewhat louder as it has gotten a bit older, but no undesired or strange noises to date.
