Determine which Navteq Version I have

I purchased my 2007 S65 in July of 06 but for some reason I don;t have a Navteq disk for the GPS. Not sure it came with one as I know they are now hard loaded. The question is how do I determine which version of Navteq I have before I buy an upgrade. I am really only interested in updates to my state (Arizona) and but I don't know if there have been some since I purchased the car. I noticed the current version V7.0 dated 11/08 does not include any Arizona updates but without knowing what I have perhaps there were updates between now and then I want. I had the dealer check it out and even on the their diagnostics machine they said it doesn't show version number loaded. Any tricks out there?

I would be 99% certain you are at a version 5.0 or 6.0. As far as what version you want, you seem to have already researched that v7.0 has no updates that would pertain to what you are looking for.

If you haven't upgraded since 2006 you have 5.0. Did you get the telematics upgrade (DTB P-B-82.85/512h)? That's the change that enables real-time traffic, bird's-eye view, DVD viewing and dynamic ETA display. You would need to have the dealer do this before going to a new nav disk. Some dealers would charge for the telematics upgrade unless you are buying a new nav disk from them, which would be a good reason to get a new disk.
