ABC easy as 123, I don't think so!!!
My ABC is getting to me. First I get a warning,then I get drive carefully,
then MB tell me it has a weeping pipe and just keep topping it up. The leak
got worse very quickly so I booked it in. After 2 weeks and $2000 later I pick
it up. On the way home I notice a strange whirr noise it never had before.
The next day I take it back, and I have to leave it because there not sure what it is. I just got a call, they think it might be the ABC/power steering
pump. How much will this cost? I have already spent 10k in 10 months on this car. And how come it never made this noise when it went in. My patience
is wearing thin.

This is the joy of an out of warranty 140k MB V12. It breaks all the time and you go broke keeping it running.
Either get a warranty or expect this to continue.
But for the record the ABC pumps all make tons of noise. I have delivered people new cars that had ABC pumps that sounded like a hoover vacuum cleaner.
The leak is another common issue. Once you need the hard line from the front to the rear valve block its all done.
Just wait for the shocks to wear out. 2k each!

As far as insurance is concerned I would love some, but I am not sure whether you can get insurance after you bought it. It's like trying to take out life insurance with a terminal illness. I shall just have to squeeze my credit card a bit harder, and the pump better be absolutely quiet. I wish they
weren't so superb to drive!!
