Long-Term Effects of Performance Mods
Hi all. I was just wondering whether anyone has experience driving a modified vehicle for an extended time period, say 50,000+ miles since modification. I have an 04' S55 with a new pulley and ECU flash and am just wondering what to expect if I keep it for another 50,000 to 75,000 miles. It presently has 24,000 on it.

That is not many miles at all for those mods. Wear will be minimum , as you are not at wide open throttle all day long..

I will add to this question. Has anybody had 50k+ miles after modifying and had reliability issues? Or, a need for maintenance? Or has it been pretty much mod and go with no worries other than routine scheduled maintenance?

Mods and miles
I'm at 80k with no engine or tranny issues running Kleeman stage 1 for about 20k miles now. I did have the dreaded ABC pump failurebut that seems to happen with or without mods. These drivetrains are tough as long as you stay with a tuner who knows what they are doing.
