found a 03 s600 and need a vin check
Found a 03 s600 in cali that has a sweet color combo. I wanted a silver one but the pewter looks good in the pics. Can anyone tell me what options this car did not come with. I would like one that had everything.
I only found 2 on the east coast and both were black.
Can anyone tell me what options this car did not come with.
You can view the original marketing brochure here http://www.ragtop.org/mbbrochures and check factory-installed equipment here http://old.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng (full version) if multiple codes come up unknown PM VIN(s), include your email address and I will send MB datacard showing initial delivery date to dealer, equipment, codes, etc.

yeah the seller is playing games and will not give me an exact amount he wants for the car. I can't stand that make me an offer stuff. His dealership has bentley's and all high end stuff. Not sure why he doesn't want me to hurry up and take the only car under 50k on his lot out of there....

According to a friend that has access to Manheim Auctions, 2003 S600s have sold for $17,000 to $18,000 at recent auctions. I remember two cars in particular that made me cry (a black one with 67,000 miles that sold for 17,600, and a silver one with 58,000 miles that sold for 17,200)
NADA trade-in for these cars is, what, 23-24,000?
I KNOW what people here like to say about buying from auctions, but soooo many dealers get their stock from these auctions!
I say show the guy that you've done your homework, get a MB dealer to pull the service records, pay for a PPI, offer a thousand or so over what you estimate he paid. He balks, you walk.
Period.

yeah I called him back on Monday and he has had the car on ebay and auto trader for like 3 weeks. I offered him 24k and he jumped on it, so it makes me think he got it at an auction for like 17k like you were saying.
