S55 AMG 2005 Engine oil leaks

I have a 2005 S55 AMG and the engine leaked oil when I got it. It was engine oil, the ABC fluid has a peculiar smell to it making the two easy to recognize. After fixing the usual problems (valve covers, filler cap, oil filter housing) there seem to be a leak still somewhere in front of the engine. It is not the main seal, the leak is higher up and it seems to be on both sides?? I cleaned up the front several times, but it is extremely difficult to see where it is coming from and I would prefer not to take out the radiators to find this leak.
Any suggestions?

Did you check your oil cooler lines? The cooler is located in front of the radiator but down low. You can follow the lines from the cooler, if you are not sure where they start from..

I did some more research online and in WIS and other manuals and there is a possibility of oil leaking around some bolts. 5 of the timing case cover bolts need to have sealing compound applied when assembling so I will be monitoring those. There is also this small rectangular cover which seems to be a leaking problem on other MB engines.
One sneaky leak was the Camshaft Hall Effect sensor bolt on the right head, but it was easy to fix with RTV sealant.
I just wish there was more space in front between the fan and the engine.

I am back to report on the oil leaks. Interestingly enough, the oil filter (O ring placed in wrong groove by the "professional" who changed oil ) and camshaft sensor bolt were the culprits behind oil leaks in the front of the engine. Right valve cover leaked somewhat on the side and gasket was replaced. Now there is only very small leak at the oil sensor and the dipstick O ring. That will get fixed this Saturday and the engine should be oil leak free.
