There are several options for the plan coverage level, however, as any Mercedes-Benz vehicle is generally considered ‘high performance’ the only plan that I recommend is the Maximum Care plan which is an exclusionary coverage. Exclusionary plans (often referred to as bumper-to-bumper) cover everything mechanical and electrical – close to 6,000 components – except for the stated exclusions (ie, brake pads, tires, body panels, clutch component, etc.). This is a brief summary and a more detailed ‘plan provision’ is available for review upon request.
The process for obtaining service is pretty straightforward: you go to your local MB dealer and the service writer will contact Chrysler Authorizations for pre-approval before any work is done. Chrysler provides a pre-approval authorization number, the work is completed and then the MB servicing dealer is paid directly by Chrysler Service Contracts via credit card (there may be exceptions depending on dealer preferences).

I can vouch for that my local MB dealer use them too, and if you purchase it from them theres a $0 deductible!
Doesnt matter if factory warranty is expired or not...
NOTE: The following vehicles are not eligible for a Chrysler Service Contract: Vehicles equipped with a 12-cylinder engine

Am I misunderstanding or are they basically excluding the V-12 Mercedes with that statement?

That pdf is for the new cars and a lot of us have the Used Maximum Care which doesn't have the V12 exclusion!

Ha...sorry for getting the blood pressure up! Thanks for clarifying...I'm in the heat of S600/S65 shopping and would really like to get a good warranty
Philly Single, I too am in the market for an S65. Found a nice 07 with 29k miles for 89,000 still under warranty. MB extended for another 2 years is 3450.
You looking in the Philly area too?
Right now I'm really leaning towards a low mile 2006 S65...but would have to travel to get the car. If that doesn't work out, a friend (actually here on the board too) is selling an '03 S600 here in NJ.

The S600 is a serious consideration, but since I rarely drive...I really want the "holy crap" factor to be pretty high. And the AMG S65 keeps tugging at me, even though the S600 is no slouch in the performance catagory either. I am hoping to have my purchase wrapped up within a month.
We should grab coffee or something sometime, would love to see the S63

I work at an MB dealer in Nova, and + 1 to that. Easy Care and Warrantech are the two best aftermarket warranties .
Wynns is not bad either.
JD Power did a survey a few years back of the top companies based on claims-paying reputation. Fidelity was #1, NAC #7, Wynns #13 or #14 I think out of 100+ companies.
