Now the W221 S65 has been tested by a couple of U.S. car magazines (Car & Driver and Road & Track).
Car & Driver tested a 2007 S65 with 1,359 miles on the clock (and rear tires set to 44psi) to the following times:
0-30: 1.7
0-60: 4.2
0-100: 9.2
0-150: 21.4
1/4 mile: 12.4 @ 118mph

Road & Track tested a 2007 S65 in a "Road Test Update" awhile back. I believe it ran a 12.3 @ 119mph. I will check on that when I get home tonight.

Not bad for 44 psi and a low barometer. I have never seen a test sheet like that...looks like its from an insider at C&D, cool stuff.

C&D has started to include a link to an actual copy of the "test sheet" in most of their road tests published online. It is cool to see the weather conditions, mileage, tire pressure etc, which could impact performance.
