Unhappy Interior ruined by 'detail'

Hello everyone -

A brand new S65 with the beautiful leather interior - the diamond pattern, the really soft seats and such. Ruined. The car was 'detailed' and now all the leather is very tight, you can see the rippling in the seats - and it's all very slippery, completely lost it's beautiful soft texture.

Any ideas how to reverse this? Or is the car stuffed now?

Thanks everyone.

Detailed by whom? If it was done by a pro, ask them what they used to ruin it. Most likely you can bring it back but need to know what type of chemicals were used on it.

You might also try another professional detailer at your local dealer for restoration.

I'd do a leatherique treatment. This tends to restore the leather to its natural state.

I second finding a quality detailer in your area. Most likely the treatment they applied is just on the top. The leather will need to be cleaned and then properly conditioned.
