Highest Mileage S55
This is a 2004 S55 AMG with nearly 160K miles on it, looks like it is in pretty good shape. The highest mileage S55 I have seen so far:

It amazes me....
I prefer higher mileage AMG's....less problems .. I never owned an AMG with less then 50k miles that gave me an issue...but I have had
AMG's with less then 15k miles that was in for service weekly..and a few other low mile ones...
These are Mercedes Benz's AMG's
I have a GMC truck with 290k miles...runs fine---All original parts
A GMC canyon 3 cyl 2006 150k miles
I had a Turbo T...1987 with 160k miles....
NONE OF THESE VEHICLES ARE EVEN 10% AS WELL BUILT AS AN AMG
MY 2004 S55 I just sold had 131k miles..sold for $19k...and the car ran as good as a 20k mile car
GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE.....

My 04 S55 has 90k miles and is running strong! I had some maintenance issues at 78k (ABC pump and valve body, covered by Chrysler warranty thank God), but before and since rock solid. And I drive it like I stole it regualrly!

Great to see a few examples of high mileage S55's here. It appears that once owners fix the ABC issues, these cars run rather trouble-free afterwards.
