WATER ON MY FLOORBOARD

So I went to the carwash in my 2003 s55 about a month ago, went through no problems, came out, heard a dripping sound looked down and saw a ton of watter on my pass floorboard. I freaked out, drove home, pulled the ground off the bat, pulled the carpet and there was half a gal of water on the floorboard. I took it to a verry good freind of mine at who owns a prominent european garage here in utah, and they cant figure out how the water is getting into the car, the windsheild has been checked the AC cabin filter case has been pulled. the drains for the ac have been cleared and it all was sealed up, went through the car wash and the same thing again. Anyone else have this problem with their s class? any ideas? thanks!

It isn't a recall, but rather a class action settlement. Take the car to the dealer and the repairs should be paid for by MBUSA. If you have had to pay for damages previously because of a plugged fresh air intake drain, take all receipts to your servicing dealer and submit them for reimbursement.

Here is the Netstar(internal MB intranet) message regarding the settlement. There is a website listed in the document. My guess is that it isn't being widely publicized since MB could potentially be paying for every S/CL to be repaired.

Several of my friends who have S classes also received a letter several months ago about being included in a class action suit, but to my knowledge, none have received any more information about it.

A Mercedes obviously!
I got the letter too. If someone doesn't beat me to it I can scan it and email it to you.
