Auto trunk open/close?

Auto trunk open/close?
Is there a way to adjust the rate of speed the trunk closes, after you hit the close button? Mine comes down like JAWS!

2006 s65. Ford Excursion 6.0. Pontiac GTO convertible. Porsche 944 Turbo SCCA car. Wife-E550 and 968
when I came from the e63 to the s65, I wasn't ready for speed of that mf. I put a package on the back lip, hit the button, and lifted the package away. In my E, no probs. In the S trunk lid came down so fast it split the bridge of my nose open. Blood gushing everywhere, including all over the package. (kid's bday present) I feel your pain. Literally.

Thanks, good to know.. I just changed the hydrualic pump out that controls it and wanted to double check adjustment.. I run a trunk intercooler tank, so in the trunk a lot..

My bud just got an 07 S600 and the w221 trunk closes much slower than our w220 cars. I feel as if I could loose a limb by the action of my auto closer.
