Pumps..Pumps
Took my S600L in for service to day, amazing drove there fantastically.
Just service I said she's going great.
Amazed 3 hours later by garage, your car needs new suspension line, an
ABC pump, another pump to do with the charge, on and on, about 3 grand.
Wait I said I already had the ABC bits done last year, and whats this other pump for. A call back confirmed already had it done so it would be done
under warranty. As far as the other pump the guy was vague, he said it's
a pump to keep the ECU
cool, if it overheats your car will go
to limp mode, then he said that magic word CHARGE . Does he mean the
inter cooler. It's about £800 , anybody got any ideas,![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
could it be the i/c pump.
I sure be grateful if anybody knows.

I am pretty sure Lotus calls their intercooler a 'charge' cooler. So, maybe that is what he is talking about.... but I would ask him for clarification.

The truth is on the transmission dipstick. Why did you put fluid in the transmission? Was it acting up? If it was low, filling it to the cold level, then warming the engine, then checking the fluid will tell you how much you have.
