Facelifting from 2007 to 2011
Greetings
Coming to this forums after a long time. I presently have 2006/7 S class. A local garage told me he can do a facelift to make it look like 2011.
Question I have if this is a straight forward plug n play or should I be concerned for my electricals.

The question is why go through all the expenses to make the car look like a 2011, you got a great car, enjoy it, posers are not cool. If you like the 2011 better, get one.

Yes it can be done. I did the e63 conversion on my e55. Doing a 2010 face lift conversion on a SL65. I will post pics next week when were done with it.
It's not as simple as it appears. There are quite a few little parts that can easily be overlooked as well as some rewiring. The result is worth the effort imo.
