s65 exhaust on s550 TOO loud help
Installed complete s65 exhaust on my brothers s550, sounds ok compared to a real s65, but way louder, and think it will be annoying on long trips. I was wondering where i can get this Silence on/off device. Seems cool. Any help is appreciated!

The S65 being twin turbo does not require as much muffling due to the turbos providing some silencing. How much of the exhaust was able to be used?
A switchable exhaust requires an electric valve (available ebay and other places) coupled with two exhaust paths to choose from. One path is more muffled than the path that the valve leads to. This would be custom work.
If you can post pics of the stock exhaust and undercar of the new exhaust I or someone may be able to spot a location for either the dual path or to add additional muffling devices such as resonators.
