I was just in at my local dealer for a quick warranty issue and they offered my $22 cash for my 98k mile 2004 S55. NOT AS A TRADE but cash purchase. They are hurting big time for used cars with new car sales in the crapper. This is consistent with several articles I've seen recently about the used car market in general across the industry.

Clearly this is a short term blip but if you are considering moving up now is probably the time.

The new S63 has been selling fairly well. Would I buy one right now? Hell no, I sold an SLK55 after ~2.5 years for 42k and I was happy to get that, it was right at 70k new. Mercedes take a hit fairly quickly, especially the S Class AMGs.
