Hi

My 2004 S55 seems to have the older Comand unit in the front with a TV in the rear. The TV in the back however has the 3 aux ports underneath it and i was wondering what i could plug into there, especially in the way of something to play MP3's and/or DVD's and wether it will just pick it up.

I was thinking of using this cable to plug in an ipod but im not entirely sure if it will be that straight forward. The cable itself seems to have an earthing point which seems i think i will have to cut into the cars power system to get the ipod to charge.

The question is, will the Comand system pick it up though?

is it an imput or an output? I have a cable for my ipod that plugs in to the headphones and plays everything... inluding video

I would assume its input, as the car itself wouldnt have anything to output. Dont know how to test it though?

Very interested in this cable you have, really didnt think the headphone sockets would be able to take input. Any details on this cable?
