Need help with front seat bolsters and massage
Hello,
On my (new to me) 2003 S55 AMG neither the auto side bolsters or massage settings seem work on either front seats
When I press the Pulse button it just flashes on/off but none of the arrows seem to do anything.
When I press the Dynamic button the red light stays on but I never feel any extra bolster when cornering no matter if I choose hard or soft settings in the dash display.
I inspected the air pump in the trunk and it seemed OK, when I plugged it back in - it ran for a few seconds and stopped.
So, do I have a leak and if so where is that likely?
Or, do I need STAR to enable this system, perhaps its been turned off?
I have heard one guy change out a bad check valve but could not locate a check valve in the ECP parts for this system.
Any help would be appreciated - thanks

Well, this ended up being an airleak in the trunk on the connector to the condenser drain pipe (grey with white connector) of the air resevoir bottle above the interactive (dynamic) seat air pump. Once replaced, the seats now work.
