any one had they're car delimited? any suggestions would be great~

i thought so~~how fast did u go up too? did you have your CL delimited? would you?
KLEEMANN can also raise the VMAX on your vehicle via software- as well as performance increase. We typically raise the VMAX- not remove it (300 kph, 187 MPH).

mark, click on my link at my signature, there you will see the 19" CL 5-spoke AMG Rims in Chrome, I wouldn't get chrome for your car, polished would look classier.. Am I mistaken or is that eucalpytus wood? I thought those only came on S430's, but its prolly somethin else. I would also suggest the Rear Deck Lorinser Spoiler, thats on my car above the back window, it adds to the class without spoiling the presence.

19-20" wheels

I'd stay away from any wheels larger than comes with the car. The ride is rough enough now for an S class and it would ride like a truck with larger wheels.

rekjr40,
fyi trucks have larger TIRES

marklu,

congrats on the new car - 18" wheels look small in proportion to the W220 chassis - you've got to get the 19-20" wheels after your wife calms down from your s55 buy:p

Yes they do. This not a truck and 20 inch tires are going to make it ride like a truck.

thanks~indeed~the 18" look small~after almost a month since delievery~i already find the ride with the stock wheels a bit too rough for a luxury sedan~is this normal AMG owners?

nevertheless~i've been waiting for Harris to get back to me about Style IV 19" multi-piece for w220, which i have not been able to locate anywhere else but his site @ www.hartonmotorwerks.com~ ~~Harris?!?

If you think 18"s ride poorly, definitely stay away from anything larger. Maybe just get the car lowered 1/2- 1", like some of us are trying to figure out how to get MB to do, and that will give you a better look and handling.

Also, maybe lower your tire pressures to improve the ride. It can make a big difference. 28front/29 rear is what MB recommends on S600 for regular driving. 32/35 for fast driving. The ride difference is quite noticable. I run my 18"s at 32/24 which is good ride, great handling.

What are the tire sizes on your 600? The S55 now runs 40 profile in the rear and 45 in the front.

I have an S500 with standard 2003 18" S600 wheels all around. Tire size is 245/45/18's, just as the 600 does.
