Fluid Leak Infront of Oil Pan

I was changing the oil this weekend and found the evidence of a small leak. It is coming from a line right in front of the oil pan but behind the ABC lines. The goo it left is sticky like really old honey and is not like traditional oil leaks.

Any idea what this line runs to?

Thanks!

It is your abc pressure/dampener combo line. it goes from the pump to the y block by the right cat. they are a common leak on these cars. the part has been updated 3 times. the current number for the 220/215 cars with the 275 engine is 220 320 51 72. you can get the 2 lines separate however it's not worth doing them separate. they both will leak eventually and the parts are relatively cheap. It is possible to do yourself if you are very mechanically capable. It is a PITA to do though. a trick is to remove the lf thrust arm, pull back the plastic cover and use a 19mm swivel socket to remove the banjo bolt. DO NOT cross thread it when going back in! you will have to remove the lower engine mount bolts (13's) and raise the engine. the line will have a fitting on the rf corner of the engine/sub-frame. loosen the metal line from the right side of the engine to get to that fitting. swap out the line and be careful that it wont chafe. change your abc filter, top off fluid with chf11s and hit the raise/lower button several times. good luck

Thanks, I need to get a picture of all the ABC lines so I can see where they all run. The two lines just infront of the crossmember have already beeen replaced.

Thanks for your input!

it will run just under the belt in front of the engine. it is a 2 line assembly. one line goes directly from the pump to a hard line and it junctions at the rf corner of the engine above the sub-frame. the other runs parallel with it from the pump to just past the balancer. then does a 180* turn and ends in front of the ac compressor. the second line goes no ware. its a dead end. its there simply as a air dampener for the high pressure fluid. judging from your 1 and 2nd pic it is that line. they have a rubber shrink wrap sleeve over it so it will seal in any seepage. however when it does start leaking it will split open. there is a metal bracket that if not installed properly will chafe the line. i have seen this before as well. if you pm me your email i can send you some pictures if you like. im at work right now so i cant upload photos however i can email pix of mb documents.
