Just wanted to give you guys a heads up....maybe it's old news, but it's new to me. You can now extend your cpo'd MB an additional 2 yrs past the cpo and up to 135k. I just purchased the 2yr extension from my local dealer for my 2007 s65 for 4800.....an absolute no brainer when considering repair cost and resale value. My car just left the shop last week for coolant seal on the inlet to the drivers side turbo......cost without the warranty, a cool 2300. So, there's a year right there. I'm now awaiting for am instrument cluster as the speakers in mine went bad.....that's not gonna be cheap.

Anyway, I was always aware of the additional year up to 100k miles, but not the 2yr/135k miles. Just thought I'd pass along......

I was aware of the optional 2-year extension but unless MB has changed the mileage, numer, you are still limited to 100K miles. Furthermore, it is whichever comes first, so your annual mileage is a huge consideration. I think most MB owners run out of time on the CPO extension long before they run out of miles. I acutally took this CPO extension option on my 2006 CL-55 in 2010 and as of now only have 26,500 miles on the car so I am obviously a low mileage driver, hence I will run out of CPO "time" long before driving the 100,00 miles.
