190e, S500, S55 AMG Komp
Supercharger Maintenance

Just bought S55 Kompressor any suggestion for the supercharger maintenance first one i've owned not sure if i should do anything?? also tranny maintenance

This is an outstanding thread on s/c maintenance. Surprisingly, MB has no real maintenance steps for the s/c.

Thanks for the DIY post. I have to do this...I have about 83k on my car and who knows if it's ever been done. Not looking forward to the smell that goes with it though. Thanks again.

You can also change the transmission fluid and I would recommend it at 83K...Get the factory fluid online or from the dealer. There is no dipstick but you can buy a generic one on Ebay...mine took about 8-10 liters to do a full flush. there is no torque converter drain, either. I removed the fluid and filter and measured it carefully, then refilled the same amount, I did this three times (driving about 10 miles between drainings).and considered that a flush
