have 06 E55... thinking of trading to 08-09 S63

have 06 E55... thinking of trading to 08-09 S63
My extended warranty has expired on my 06 E55 with 69000 miles, so I am thinking of what to do next.....I do still like it. So, just keep it with no warranty, buy another extended warranty for a couple more years, or trade it for E63 or S63?
I am thinking the S63 is pretty nice, S65 is out of the range i feel like spending. Any input here from S63 owners? I have heard opinions from a few people who prefer the E55/E63 and think the S-class is a barge, slower than the E55, or an old man's car... obviously just opinions from people who don't own one, and maybe true for the S550 but I don't think so for the S63.
I am looking for input from someone who has one, or especially has had both. Any regrets, or would you do it again?
