I researching a 2007 S63 AMG, the report on Carfax id's the vehcile as a S550.Is there any to verify a AMG S Class by the Vin. Or is there another site I can get some info on this vin

These websites have interlinked data provided to them through MTO I think so other websites would most likely provide the same info.
So just go an check the vehicle , the most identical way to check would be to go look at the signature on the engine lol
everything can be put on the calipers, rotors but hand built engines.
Others could have a better idea but that's what I think

Anyways, can the OP please provide any less information about the car in question? Why don't you post the VIN or at least a link to the listing. Most "fake AMGs" can be distinguished from a picture or two.

You don't think it's possible to retrofit the engine? It most certainly can be done.

If someone is goes to the lengths of putting a S63 engine in a S500 then they certainly deserves a client lol

I was being a little sarcastic, but it's certainly not out of the realm of possibility. Members on this board have put 55 engines in their C43, 600 engines in their E55s, etc.
