2003 S55 AMG
I'm interested in doing those 3 things to my 2003 S55 to make it once again the King of the Hill.I have no problem beating most street cars in the quarter, but the new 5.0 Mustangs are giving me a slight problem.I live in MS..Where can I order the pulley kit?Is this the best place to start,or is there some type of performance chip available?

Thanks in advance.
I got mine off e-bay, it was over a year ago, it was real cheap, as far as plug and play... the new IC pimp did not plug in i had to cut ans crimp the wires together, as well as the new pump was much smaller in diameter which made it a lil easier to change, it took just under an hour, you can find a video on you-tube, im not mechanically inclined and it was an easy overall operation 4 me, I also had a lift which made it a bit easier...

I think when switching from the original Bosch to the Johnson pump the hardest part by far is the wiring, the rest is pretty much a straight forward swap over.

Some people claim to have some small issues with the clamps and others dont, so thats another hit and miss area.

I'm getting into this now. Likely settled on a 175mm ASP crank pulley (a little over 13psi boost), secondary cat and resonator delete, and tune. May upgrade to a Johnson pump, maybe a new OEM (I'm told the factory one has been upgraded, I'm chasing that down with MB now). The theory as been to go for better throttle response and exit of exhaust gases (exhaust and tune), with more boost but not enough to cause heat or stress (175mm v. 180mm pulley). That's enough for me. I'll report back with observations.

Cheers, Gents,

maw

Anyone here using FabTech Performance parts?? They seem to have some decent looking parts & their air intake kit looks badass... Are they reputable??

I would stay with the stock crank pulley, and go with a smaller S/C pulley. Lighter, less rotational mass, gets ride of the clutch system, no more chirps, and injectors, and a tune.
