IR reflecting glass
Hey guys and gals.. Just have a quick question. I tried searching but I couldn't really find anything. How would one know if the side glasses are infrared reflecting glass? I know for a fact that my windsheild and the back glass are coated but I'm not sure about the sides. I looked up my vin and it has the 595 option but i'm not sure if thats for all the windows. I just got my car tinted and if I do in fact have this option, i'm thinking of taking the tints off since it's kind of redundant. Thanks in advance!

I know this is not helping but, you tinted the windows for health reasons or to help with the rays of the sun being so bright. IR coating and tint are kind of different things. Or at least imo.

Mainly for the heat rejection and somewhat the rays here in Cali. My car's black on black and summer is coming up and the last thing I wanted was the heat inside. Lol! For what it's worth I think I'm just going to keep it.

Well, from my experience the darker the better. I have yet to see windows from factory that have been dark enough. So keeping your tint at this point seem like a smart move to me

Tint, depending on how dark you go have a percentage of how much light is let in, thus helping reduce heat inside. Of course, we all know that when its hot outside, it doesn't matter tint or not its gonna be hot inside. But, I'd rather have tint than no tint. The IR coating won't do the same thing.
