P0341 car hard start

Hey Guys,

My car just threw a code today P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance and it is extremely hard to start when warm. Sometimes takes up to 3 cranks cycles before finally kicking on. Has anyone else had to replace this ? is it just a sensor?

You answered you own question, you need a camshaft sensor.

Do it now before it fails totally and leaves you stranded. I guarantee it won't happen in your garage but probably in the middle of nowhere at 11:00 PM. I speak from learning the hard way.

My brother in law has a 2004 S55 and it left him on the side of the highway..bad CPS...he said it was extremely hot that day (107 in Texas) and the ring gear chewed up the CPS...the tow was more $ than the part...
