E55 and SL55
Extended Warranty
i have a 2004 E55 with roughly 48,500 miles. currently i have an extended warranty on my car thru this month of may with the mercury group extended auto protection plan. this mercury group is quoting me the following figures to extend my current warranty:
2 more years and 24,000 miles for roughly $5,000
(zero deductible, covers everything, bumper to bumper),
3 more years and 36,000 miles for $7,100
(again zero deductible, covers everything, bumper to bumper)
this mercury group auto protection plan has been a great company and have stood behind 99% of all the problems (not that i've had too many....Thank God!) with my 2004 E55, but $5,000 and $7,100 seems like a lot of money for 2 or 3 years of bumper to bumper coverage.
has anyone had/have any experience with a good extended warranty company....can anyone recommend a extended warranty company which has good prices on 2 or 3yr extended warranties for mercedes?.

I'd be in the w211 thread if I were you. But I second contacting Bruce. I would pay almost anything for a warranty on my S, though.
