s65 trunk mechanism
so my dad takes my s65 to get the spark plugs changed for me, when they unplug the battery my dad closes the trunk and when the jobs done he forces it open by hand and now it will only open 3/4 the way,still operates normally otherwise, anyway i could fix it myself without sending it to the dealer?

Just a guess but I think the next time it opens 3/4 of the way...force it up the rest of the way and then close with the buttons...it may recalibrate the pull length...just something to try..
