whats gas stations are really giving out
how sensitive is the m275 motor to different gasolines? i noticed when i fill up at a local shell (93 octane) the engine runs so smooth that i cant notice its on when I'm stopped at re lights, but when i use a local Sunoco station i put "93" and my motor feels like its running rough and the check engine light comes on but goes away after i switch fuels again. is this engine really that sensitive? and is it a good idea to add an octane booster when i fill up, thanks!

It's funny that you mentioned this. I have a 05 S55 & for some reason when I use BP gas, the car runs much smoother than when I use Mobile. At first I was thinking it was just bad gas, but after several fill ups, I came to a conclusion that BP runs better in my car.It's funny because I had a 2001 S55 & a 2000 S500 & it was the total opposite.
