2004 S55 on lowering links wheel tire advice
How's it going MB forum.
I found this out the hard way before doing research or most likely many do not know of this after trying to research . I run 255/40/18 all around before i found out one of the rears was showing a wire exposing spot it was 9pm at night and found a 24 hr tire shop bought a used one unfortunately just for temporarily and it was a 235/40 18 .
Next thing I'm driving out the shop at about 3 blocks i get a esp, abs and limp mode plus the good ol check engine. Next day popped backa 255 size and bam no more errors .
So after this scary experience imo i wanted to ask if i were to go 19s on the niche pantono style wheels what would u guys recommend? Can i get away with 245 without rubbing? Ill provide a pic down below , the car is not slammed just an fyi.
