This happened yesterday, came to a stop at a red light and the car shut down, transmission showed to be in "N". I quickly shifted to "P" pushed start button, all came to life normally, shifted to "D" and drove off (on green light).

This is the second time this has happened. What could cause my S65 to stall like this?

I don't have a 65, but maybe this will help.This happened to me twice before. I was driving on the street & the car just shut off on me. I was able to start it back up without a problem. When I took it to my mechanic, he told me I needed to replace my crank sensor. Once he changed it, the problem went away & hasn't come back. That was over 1 year ago. Hopefully this helps.
