Front rotors / Eurocharged engine tune / S65 AMG
Hello,
I will need to replace front rotors and brakes on my 2008 S65 AMG - which one of the part suppliers offers the best price for original / OEM parts?
My second question is about the Eurocharged engine tune which increases the horsepower from stock 621hp to 703hp. There is also an additional ECU/TCU tune offered by Eurocharged. Do I need both?
I've had the S65 for little over a year now and absolutely having a blast driving it.
Thank you.

One of the first things I did when I got my S65 in my hands is pull the ECU and sent it to Eurocharged. I LOVE this machine. The power it makes is unreal and can be overwhelming if you don't be careful. It is simply glorious!

PS I could also use a set of front rotors and pads soon.

I think you are comparing a"tune" (engine only) to a an ECU/TCU engine and tranny tune. The TCU will maximize the use of power that is limited by the tranny on shifts. From the factory the motor can produce more than the 738 ft./lbs it's limited to. A TCU tune will allow the car to put down even more torque based on the gains from the ecu tune. The car feels great with no torque limiter, but it does result in extra abuse to the tranny and the rest of the drivetrain. The combo really makes the car an animal to drive. You won't be disappointed .

Www.racingbrake.com has the best 2piece rotors. By far the best thing you can do for improving ride quality as well as braking/accelerating besides tune of course

Great info about racingbrake.com. I see that their rotors are slotted but not drilled... great price.
