Urgent! S65 coil boots all broke off
Was in the process of chaning driver side coil plugs when I began to pull the red insulator boots that were left in the head. Well, unfortunately they were all brittle and cracked right in the middle, leaving half of them stuck on the plugs inside the head. What can I do to get them out? I've been trying to use my long needle nose pliers, and they just crumble and stay in place. Help!!!

Disaster averted. Took several hours, but using a flat blade screw driver, I was able to split the remaining boots stuck inside the plug wells and with a little finagling, got all of them out. Ironically, the last plug boot for cylinder 12 all the way by the firewall came out in one piece. When it did, I actually yelled "thank you Jesus" out loud.
3 of the 12 plugs that came out showed signs of arcing. I think 60k is too short an interval for plug replacement. They should be done every 40-50k miles.
Anyway, got everything buttoned back up. Car drives fine. In fact, it feels a bit more responsive with a tad more power. Only bad thing is that when I was putting the engine cover back on, I ended up losing one of the rubber support grommets. Dropped behind the engine never to be seen again. Anyone have a part number for that piece?
