s65 service cost n pic update

so I had my 2012 65 for about 4 months and just wanted to share my costs so far. I just had the 60k service done and added trans service all filters in car etc.i first went to my local benz dealer they wanted 2300 just for 60k service so I looked around and found a benz specialist off rodeo in Beverly hills that did all services for 1800$.insurance is 240/month full coverage then another few k on customization

I only asked because one of your photos shows the front rotor pretty well, and it looked solid to me. No holes or slots. But, then again, could just be a low quality image that didn't pick up the detail. Nice looking ride BTW.

ur right bro the front ones are solid and rear are vented.i changed a rear tire n seen vented so I just assumed all were. do u know if that's cool or should I swap out asap? don't want to risk other components to excessive heat if it will damage them u know .ur input has is always helpful thanx again

Previous owner probably replaced the front rotors at some time with a lower cost alternative that wasn't vented. Personally, I'd leave it alone for now if they're still in spec for thickness. Once they're worn, then go ahead and replace with vented discs if you so choose.

Vented rotors are really designed to help prevent fade once hot. They're not really useful for normal day to day driving. Unless you're tracking your 221, I wouldn't be worried about premature brake component failure.
