w221 s 500 Mercedes 2007
w221 steering heavy. mech says valve failure.

hi, I gave my w221 s 500 for engine and transmission mounting replacement. After the replacement the steering has lost its power and become very stiff in low as well as high rpm. in C S or M.
Now mech says we have to try by 1st replacing the valve or if that fails to resolve that it could be change control panel.
I just bought the car and it was working perfect till i sent it for mounting change.
pls advice if mech could have caused any damage while replacing mounts that cause steering failure.
Its a 2007 model and in Dubai, UAE.
Thanks......
