Eurocharged Performance ML63 and TT lambo
8/15/2018 Update
Pleased to report that the car is still running great, now at 77K miles (+13K miles since having ECU flash performed). Since the tune I've had the rear cats/resonators deleted (one unit on this car BTW) and it sounds fantastic, deeper sounding in the lower rev range and throatier up top. Also of potential interest, to anyone considering these mods, last week I had the car state inspected here in Houston, TX (including emissions testing) and the car sailed through without any issues.
Lastly, even though the car's power output is up, the gas mileage has increased!! Pre-tune I was routinely getting 15.4 miles per gallon (85% highway and 15% street use) - 340 miles on 22 gallons. I'm now, consistently, getting 380 miles a tank, at 17.3mpg. Running the math I've used 93 gals less in the last 13K miles than I would have pre-tune (the pre-tune mpg was a solid recorded average over 35K miles of ownership running the exact same commute five days a week). At a pump price of ~$3.00 per gallon of 93 octane here in Houston i've already cut my fuel costs in 6 months by $280, $560 annualized. To anyone looking to keep their car a while after performing such a tune, they can take some assurance (or convince the wife!) it's a solid investment with a payout of <2 years. Then the savings begin!
