Key not working and mileage reading - - - - -
Hi all,
Ive left my interior light on.
Got some juice in the battery but the cars mileage now reads - - - - - and the key wont turn in the ignition.
do you think its forgotten the key?
currently waiting on recovery.

"Some juice" in these batteries doesn't get it. These things are battery hogs -- greedy pigs, the kinds that get slaughtered. See if the problems persist with a new AGM battery in there.

Just to follow up on this...
Recovery man disconnected the battery for 5 mins, reconnected and the mileage was displayed again.
Key turned in ignition and it fired straight into life. Even the wireless key still works. Very lucky.
Something must have locked out or crashed as I kept trying to turn it over.
