2005 W220 S55 AMG - I ordered a Bosch fuel pump for my car. The existing fuel pump has an external fuel pressure regulator at the pump location with two screw terminals on the pump. The new pump has a plug socket that fits on the harness plug that goes to the fuel pressure control module. It looks like I can take the fuel pressure sensor out of the fuel line and plug the pump directly in the harness plug. Do the new pumps have fuel pressure regulation? Is this accurate?
