2008 S63 amg Mod questions

I just recently purchased a 2008 s63 amg with 70,000 on the ticker. The car is stock at the moment and I want to gradually add power in a budget. Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with this endeavor? And possibly approximate pricing for mods? I'm pretty certainly I'd like to ramp up the exhaust ASAP as I would like a deeper, throaty, rumble. I've just scratched the surface in researching but it sounds like removing the resonators with a straight pipe perhaps. Any recommendations or suggestions I'd very much appreciate. Thanks in advance.

AMG's, CTS-V's, SRT's
Tune will probably be your best bang for the buck mod. With that said if you plan to get exhaust, put the exhaust on first then have it tuned for the exhaust if your doing headers back.

Awesome advice here! It is the simple things which we forget. I have known people that have done a chip/tune and then throw the exhaust on the car. Their results were good, but why not get them the best?

In addition to the above advice, I would suggest a tune after each modification/upgrade. I have seen big improvements after I swapped out air filters and then tuned. Good luck and enjoy.
