S55: pulley questions
I have a 2006 S55 AMG and would like the "best bang for the buck" mod which is DIY. I would like to do the pulley mod but :
1. Can I do one without having to have the ECU tuned?
2. Which size to get without having to retune the ECU?
Thanks in advance.

77 is too small if you want to avoid an ECU tune.
Larger pulleys are available that don't "require" a tune but you'll be leaving HP on the table w/out one.

Please do.
I have no plans to go to the drag strip...but would love to have more just because.
I took a trip to Vegas and back to Orange County and found the S55 to be extremely capable esp. Up the incline!
I still have a few things to look at as the front end felt like it had a slight vibration at higher sustained speed! I just replaced the front tires with new balanced Michelin Super Sport too..
