I recently bought a 2002 s55 N/A and I was wondering what could I do to squeeze more power out of it. I saw the renntech supercharger kit online and I wanted to know if I need to build the engine for this kit.
Also on a side note, I have a supercharger like whining noise coming from the engine bay. Is it common in these cars?

Not really. The N/A engine is not really the engine to get if you want to tune the S55. You want the S55 AMG Kompressor for that.
