1. AUX not shown in COMAND - fixed this by enabling with DAS.
2. Dynamic seats show only lumbar in COMAND - fixed this by loading latest firmware and enabling the COMAND menu in DAS.
3. Backup camera not working - enabled in COMAND with DAS but cannot communicate with module. I'm going to check for a broken wire next.

Definitely recommend picking up a STAR C4 system, good luck.
What model year is your S65? Do you see the a menu option in the instrument cluster for "Rearview Camera" that allows Enable/Disable in Reverse? I am assuming a 2007 if your COMAND's backup camera became inoperative after coding the COMAND?

Mine is a 2008. Rearview Camera does not show as an option in the instrument cluster. It has never operated since I purchased the car (1 month ago). The wiring from camera to camera module is good. I've replaced the camera module with no change. I've enabled rearview camera with DAS. Still not getting it to show up. When I query the module in DAS, the software reports no communication with the module. Not sure what to do next, other than verify wiring from the camera module to COMAND checks out ok.

The 2008 will not have a Rear View Camera control module - it is on the 2007 only with the dynamic lines that are displayed when the backup camera is displayed and move to show your trajectory with the steering wheel. On a 2008 it should come on automatically as long as the COMAND is powered on and you are in Reverse. If not, you will need to check the coding on the COMAND.

In the Instrument Cluster for a 2007, there is a Rear View Camera menu that allows you to disable the camera from automatically displaying in Reverse but this was removed on 2008+ vehicles.

I see, thanks. I just checked the backup camera coding again, appears correct (backup camera without park assist). When I ask for a test LCD image within DAS and select backup camera, the camera image is displayed. But under normal operation the image will not display when shifting to reverse. Must still be a software issue somewhere. I did just try to update COMAND with a new telematics disc, but the disc was not accepted (genuine disc ordered through the dealer).

Do you have online coding available? What steps are you taking to perform the upgrade?
