2003 S55 AMG Tire Pressure Sensors

Has anyone ever added Tire Pressure Sensors to a 2003 S55 AMG. I think it was an option ?? Does anyone know what it takes.

Yes, TPMS was an option in MB USA spec cars, at least as early as MY2003.

TPMS Relies on you having the special transmitter valve stems in all 4 tires. (Just like all modern cars now have).

I am not sure if you also need to add a SAM for receiving the signals. Or whether it is already hidden somewhere in the stock car. And then you likely need a Star diag session to enable it to show up in the instrument cluster.
