Going from 2006 S55 to 2007 S65
I have pulled the trigger on the purchase of a 2007 S65 and I'm planning to let go of my 2006 S55
I'm keeping my 2007 SL55 (P30) as I maintain several other MB's for others (Sl65, S63 and SL55) the time available to work on my own cars is limited so keeping my own stable down to 2 cars is what I need to do.
Having worked on my friends 2008 SL65 kind of got me interested in getting a V12, since I really enjoy my SL55 (P30) I considered replacing the S55 sedan and when I found a 2007 S65 with the right color combination and good maintenance records I made the call.
The fact that I have an engineering background, the garage, tools and many years of hands on DIY experience (Porsche, BMW and MB) makes it easier for me to make the switch compared to others that have to outsource the work on their cars.
Thanks to all that have posted on this forum about their car experiences it has been very helpful to direct myself.
Happy motoring

Wow, you must be made of money! Or do your own work?
