RennTech stainless steel exhaust headers offer true bolt-on installation, mounting directly to the OE down pipes and all RennTech headers are hand built from mandrel-bent, seamless tubing and CNC machined stainless flanges. Advanced computer aided design (CAD) and flow-analysis software allows RennTech headers to deliver substantial gains across the entire RPM range. RennTech headers are constructed of the highest quality T-304 stainless steel and are ceramic coated to further reduce latent heat in the engine compartment as well as combat against thermal stress. RennTech performance and sound pipes with integrated x-pipe bypass the stock Mercedes resonators for more volume and a better sound. Combined with RennTech ECU software and stainless steel headers, the sound pipe produces more power in the mid-to-high rpm range. RennTech High-strength 304 stainless steel construction ensures lasting quality and a rich, consistent sound. RennTech stainless steel (SS) sport mufflers are hand made and rigorously tested to remove any unwanted resonances in the cabin to deliver a deep sound that keeps with the character of a luxury performance vehicle. RennTech mufflers offer lighter weight than the stock exhaust and improve performance by reducing exhaust back pressure and improving exhaust gas flow.

The RennTech lock-up clutch upgrade uses a multi-element clutch upgrade with additional layer of friction material between the clutch plate, better friction material on the clutch face and a larger surface area of friction material to help control slippage. This allows for better heat management and increased holding power. While slippage in the torque converter is important under acceleration, this slippage becomes a liability once cruising speed is achieved. The lock-up clutch controls this slippage and creates a solid connection between the engine and transmission. If the load on the clutch is too much, slippage can occur leading to excessive heat and wear.

RennTech proprietary 82mm Performance Throttle body package offers a 22% increase of incoming air volume. This translates into a noticeable gain in both overall performance and throttle response with a performance increase of 11hp & 8 lb/ft. RennTech throttle body assemblies were designed and engineered in house and a re a bolt on component requiring no modifications to the intake manifold. Our throttle assemblies feature a machined billet aluminum housing with custom designed air velocity stacks and all necessary hardware/ electrical connectors to make installation a snap.

The RennTech V3 Digital Lowering Module (DLM) is designed to work with all available Mercedes Airmatic or ABC (Hydraulic) Suspensions.The unit allows the user to have full control over all four corners of the vehicle’s suspension and adjust in 1mm increments. The DLM requires no splicing or soldering to the factory wiring harness. The RennTech harness utilizes the factory pins as to allow a completely reversible installation. The unit also supports speed-dependant lowering that allows the vehicle to return to its factory ride-height at a pre-set speed. This removes the need for the vehicle to be aligned after lowering. The user can maintain the factory longevity and still have the lowered look at low speeds. All RennTech DLMs are adjustable via USB using either Windows or Android OS.The software allows the user to adjust the ride-height at each corner in 1mm increments independently.The software also has three locations where the user can store pre-configured suspension setups for quick changes.

RennTech transmission upgrade consists of a complete transmission disassembly and inspection as well as a mechanical upgrade to the transmission clutch packs. This allows us the ability to maximize the amount of friction materials contained within the transmission and in turn, the amount of power which can be transmitted through each forward gear. During final assembly the transmission also receives all new gaskets, seals, o-rings as well as a new transmission pan filter. RennTech 722.9 Five speed Mercedes Transmissions increased engine performance it becomes necessary to further improve the drive line components, most importantly the transmission in order to ensure maximum power is transmitted to the drive wheels without transmission slippage. This can not be realized with software and only truly be accomplished by an internal mechanical upgrade to the transmission hardware. Simply explained, a differential is the last point between the engine and the wheels where power is transferred. The differential functions as a system to direct engine power at the wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds. By upgrading the differential, you benefit in both straight line stability and vehicle handling while cornering. During a full power straight line run, RennTech LSD (limited slip differential) will lock 100% and provide torque equally to each powered wheel, providing stable straight line runs. When exiting from a corner, RennTech LSD's transition to the full 100% lock position is smooth and predictable. This gives the vehicle better traction and stability throughout the corner, improving overall lap times and a noticeable improvement in overall vehicle handling.
