AUXILIARY BATTERY
Tried searching the forums, but there were only a few threads and none seemed to answer my question: I have a 2012 S63. I'm getting the Auxiliary Battery Malfunction message and getting conflicting information as to where the aux battery is located on an S63, and 2) what the part number is. I found one that ends with a part # 4039, but then it says it's not for the S63 with the start/stop function, which mine has.
Hopefully somebody has gone through this before and can tell me what battery to get and where it is located in the car. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Ask the dealer, give them the VIN and get the part numbers for both batteries. On my 4dr S65 I had an aux battery only one manufacturer for a small odd shaped one in the engine bay area and there is a big thumper in the boot behind the rear seats.
