W221 S65 interior smell from rear
Hey guys. Trying to see if anyone else has experienced and strong rotten egg like or sulfuric smell in the interior and trunk of the car. I drove the car yesterday and everything was fine. Filled it with gas and washed it myself at home. Went to take it out for a drive today and that's when the smell hit me as soon as I opened the door. I can't put my finger on what the smell may be. It doesn't really smell like fuel, rather sulfur. Could this be the rear battery causing this smell? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Engine not running, car parked. It sat overnight and when I opened the door to get in is when I smelled it. Instead if going for a drive I tried to track down the smell. Its strongest near the rear passenger seat. That's why I was wondering if the battery could cause that smell.

2007 S600
I have a 2007 S600. The cabin has a strong odor. It drives me nuts, but I can't find the cause. I have to keep car windows open when I park my car in my garage to reduce the odor. I asked my mechanic, but he could not find the cause either. I will really appreciate it if anybody can share his/her experience of solving a similar problem. The car mileage is still low. I am thinking to sell it if I can solve this problem.
