Aren't these just going to suck in hot air from the engine bay? If so, then it will be a loss in power.

that's my point of view also
best would be detoring them in front of the main radiator behind the grille

I was thinking that...so much heat soak under the hood, needs fresh air coming in from behind the grill.

Yes, these engine bays are so packed with things that sucking in hot air would cause internal engine temperature to rise and fast too.
Car companies do their research in how to effectively provide the engine air. I think the stock intake is just fine. It's sad people actually believe these provide more horsepower when not correctly routing them.

We aren't claiming any gains on the kit, however these will be required for our larger intercoolers and intake manifold. Its possible they do make power, but we don't physically have a 275 car here to test on ourselves though. They are the same idea as the SD scorpion intakes. Just a different design.

You mentioned larger intercoolers, are those listed on your website? I haven't seen them. Also, will you be making catless downpipes for the M275?

We will not be making downpipes for this platform. The intercoolers are on our development list but are not complete yet.

I’m interested in up-sized charge coolers with air filtration akin to what Brabus does with the Rocket 900. Will also need more heat exchanger in front of the radiator to get charge air heat out. I’m in Phoenix where summer IAT’s make engine management pull power in a big way.

Right now we are working on a pagani style intake manifold.

Any estimate on when that may be completed?

We have it drawn up, we have really just been waiting for some genuine interest to prototype it

I'd be interested. I'm sure some others will also.
