Door lock issue

2002 Mercedes Benz s55 amg
Door lock issue
Hello guys, I have a 2002 s55 amg w220. I recently saw that when I’m in the car and I press the door unlock switch on my dash, my front passenger door will not unlock. But when I’m outside of the car, the doors will lock and unlock just fine. I don’t understand what the issue might be, someone help

That’s probably a setting... back in the day, there was a setting so you could either open just the drivers door or all the doors depending upon how it was set... consult your owner’s manual... mine is an ‘06 so it’s different... but I have an ‘04 Audi and an ‘05 BMW where that is a setting... given that the same supplier likely made all of the modules (Siemens, Bosch, whatever), they likely all work the same... that’s been my experience... consult your owners manual... if you don’t have one, Google and download.
As a matter of fact this just toggled my memory... the first click opens just the drivers door... the second click opens the remainder... try that... press it twice and don’t be surprised if the second press opens all doors.
